Real Madrid ‘BACK OFF’ From Kylian Mbappe Move

Real Madrid are reportedly out of the race to sign Kylian Mbappe, MySportDab reports.

Mbappe has few months remaining on his PSG contract and had made it clear he will not renew his contract with the Ligue 1 giants.

Real Madrid have been on the trail of the prolific French forward since 2021 and were close to brokering a deal to land the former Monaco before he chose to sign a new three-year deal with PSG.

Mbappe fell out with PSG and met the fury of the club’s hierarchy in the summer after links to his possible move to Real Madrid.

Sources close to PSG revealed the club believed Kylian Mbappe has agreed a deal with Real Madrid secretly to join the club on a free transfer next summer hence the clampdown on the talismani forward which saw him dropped of PSG preseason squad.

MySportDab understands Real Madrid have been denying having a deal with Kylian Mbappe. Los Blancos recently released a statement debunking rumors they are pushing for a move for the striker.

Now, according to a report from football journalist, Carrusel, shared by Transfer Live, Real Madrid have decided to bow out of the race to sign Kylian Mbappe next summer.

The report reads;

“Real Madrid have decided not to sign Kylian Mbappe next the summer. It is over!”

Carlo Ancelotti have been vocal of the completeness of his squad and has played down reports of going for new signings soon.

Mbappe was still linked to a move to Bernabeu as the club still have their number 9 shirt vacant.

RMC Sports says the report of Real Madrid’s sudden disinterest in Kylian Mbappe is a PR move to delete the ever-present image of the club on Kylian Mbappe transfer rumors as the player is still under contract with PSG.

The mood in Real Madrid’s board is the club want the player and will make a move but have to deny the links.
