Chelsea PLOT Nico Elvedi MOVE As Reece James REPLACEMENT!

Chelsea already have their eyes on Nico Elvedi who is seen as possible replacement for Reece James, MySportDab reports.

The Blues captain is expected to be out for up to three months after sustaining another injury which have hit him once again this season.

Reece James is not expected back until March 2024 which have seen Chelsea dig deep into scouting Nico Elvedi as a possible replacement.

There are also other player who are being targeted for the position which they need to fill immediately with the January window just weeks away from opening.

According to reports reaching us from Transfer News Live, they confirmed Chelsea for a replacement at Reece James position which will happen in the January window.

“Borussia Monchengladbach defender Nico Elvedi has emerged as a January target for Chelsea following another injury setback to Reece James.

The player have been impressive this season catching the eyes of those at Stamford Bridge who will look to make sure they make the move happen.

The value of the player is yet unknown as he could be around the region of €30 million or less for an agreement to be reached for a transfer.

Meanwhile Chelsea are dealing with injury crises which is expected to be hit with major boost when they play against Sheffield United this weekend.

Christopher Nkunku, Malo Gusto and Romeo Lavia all had involvement in team training as they could make their comeback during the weekend game.

Reece James is not coming anytime soon as he could only make his return in 2024 March which could also see him take more time off.
