Liverpool have gone second on the Premier League table with a dramatic 4-3 win over Fulham at Anfield, MySportDab reports.
The Reds survived Fulham scare to secure all three points thanks to Alexander-Arnold, Marc Allister and Wataro Endo’s fire goals.
Liverpool started on a brilliant note dominant proceedings and looking set to grab all three points against the visitors.
20 minutes into the game Bernd Leno deflected in Alexander-Arnold’s freekick to give Liverpool the lead.
Four minutes after Liverpool’s lead, Fulham fought back immediately and netted an equaliser thanks to Wilson’s strike.
It was a marathon of goals in the first half as Liverpool quickly positioned to return to the lead mounting more pressure on the visitors.
In the 38th minute, Marc Allister made it happen for the Reds scoring a sensation of a goal to return the home side to the lead.
The Argentine playmaker and former Brighton star fired a thunderbolt from 30 yards out to score Liverpool’s second.
The Reds thought they will go into the break with a 2-1 lead but were dealt a blow when Tete scored in stoppage-time of the first half to make it 2-2.
The second half started on same frantic pace as Liverpool rammed up attempts to take the lead again.
The mounted pressure while Fulham fell back to defend but hoped to catch the hosts on counter.
It was a dragging second half. Liverpool missed some clear-cut chances to take the lead. Darwin Nunez hit the woodwork as the pressure mounted.
Late in the game, Fulham took a surprise lead against the run of play as Cordova headed home Fulham’s third to give the away side the lead for the first time in the game.
It was looking bleak at Anfield after Cordoba’s goal but the Reds pulled an astonishing comeback with two late goals.
Substitute Wataro Endo scored from outside the box before Alexander-Arnold made it 4-3 to complete the turnaround for the Reds.
Liverpool have now close the gap on Arsenal to a point at the top of the table with the win.
