Manchester City claimed their first-ever FIFA Club World Cup title after beating Fluminense 4-0 in the final, MySportDab reports.

Erling Haaland and Kevin de Bruyne still did not take part in the competition and they were still recovering from injury.

Julian Alvarez played a huge role with his brace in making sure the Champions of Europe dominated the World in an empathic fashion after 90 minutes.

It was a quick game that the Champions of Europe were already done in the early stages after getting the goals they needed going forward.

Manchester City took the lead with a goal from Julian Alvarez in the 1st minutes ensuring they were able to break down their opponent and make things 1-0.

Fluminense organized themselves back together immediately after the goal which they did well holding on for the first 20 minutes without conceding more.

Nino conceded an own-goal which came in the 27th minutes after another pressure that saw the Brazilian side unable to hold back before going down 2-0.

Manchester City carried on with the match which came to an end in the first half which kept things 2-0 against Fluminense who were second best all through.

There wasn’t so much of a talking point in the early stages of the second half which saw play slowing a bit as they away side tried to catch up.

Fluminense continued keeping things calm in the second half which saw them sit getting pressured, but they were firm enough with things as the game progressed.

Manchester City made it 3-0 in the 72nd minutes after another wonderful play from Julian Alvarez who assisted Phil Foden for the third goal of the encounter.

Julia Alvarez added another one for the night making it his brace and scoreline between both teams became 4-0 after a goal that came in the 88th minutes.

Manchester City finished the game as clear winners after beating Fluminense 3-0 to win their first ever FIFA Club World Cup title in their history.
