FT: Wolves 2-1 Chelsea, Nkunku Score In DEFEAT! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Wolves beat Chelsea 2-1 to add more pressure on Mauricio Pochettino’s job today, MySportDab reports.

Nicolas Jackson and Raheem Sterling both had opportunities to have given the Blues the lead but they couldn’t convert.

Two second-half goals from the home side made sure there was another defeat for the Blues to take home after 90 minutes.

It was a good game for both teams who had their moment on goal but it was more for the Blues who had two clear opportunities.

Wolves started well in the early stages of things which saw them holding off well and still trying to see if they could force an early lead.

Chelsea dominated play pushing forward and uncreating opportunities one of them was a clean delivery for Nicolas Jackson who could score.

Raheem Sterling also had his moment with a one-on-one with the goalkeeper but he still couldn’t score as things continued with the scoreline goalless.

Chelsea headed for the break with nothing as Wolves did a great job by making sure they held them down and almost scored from their end on some occasion.

The second half was another start to the game which saw them coming in with a different mindset as they were in the final stages.

Chelsea still dominated things but struggled to hold their ground and find something to keep their fans going as the match moved forward.

Wolves took the lead in the 51st minute through a shocking goal from Mario Lemina who was able to finish off making things 1-0 as they moved on.

Another goal came in from Matt Doherty in the additional time ensuring things were far from the away side who were 2-0 behind.

Christopher Nkunku scored a consolation goal which wasn’t enough as Chelsea ended the match losing 2-1 against Wolves who made sure their opportunities count.
