Mioses Caicedo have revealed the reason he dumped Liverpool move for Chelsea, MySportDab reports.

The Ecuador International was in the middle of a bidding war between a number of Premier League teams before his move.

Mioses Caicedo have opened up about the reason why he dumped Liverpool move for Chelsea during the summer window.

The move for the midfielder is one of the most talked about transfer during summer window of 2023.

Brighton and Hove Albion had so much on their hands to deal with as they were reluctant to allowing the player leave the club.

They decided on making the move happen but with a huge bidding war which went crazy between Chelsea and Liverpool.

Numerous bid of €100 million was turned down from both ends as they went back to up their offer which met what was being asked by Brighton.

Meanwhile the offer from Liverpool was reached but instead Mioses Caicedo decided on Chelsea who had to match the asking price for a move.

Since the move, there have been a lot of talk as to why the player choose Chelsea despite Liverpool match the asking price named.

According to reports reaching us from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed Mioses Caicedo statement concerning his decision to opt out of the Liverpool move for Chelsea.

Here Is What Was Said:

“Why Chelsea and not Liverpool? I was talking with Chelsea for a long time.

“It was impossible to say not to Chelsea, because they were with me supporting me”.

“Liverpool called me but it was too late because I wanted to play for Chelsea”, told Sky Sports.

Things are going slow with the player balancing with Chelsea who haven’t been able to make much of their season despite all the signing.

Mioses Caicedo have also failed to show much on the pitch causing so many people to doubt and question the heavy amount paid to sign him from Brighton.
