FT: Chelsea 6-1 Middlesbrough, Blues BOOK Carabao Cup FINAL! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Chelsea thrashed Middlesbrough 6-1 in the second leg to book Carabao Cup final at home, MySportDab reports.

The Blues already had four goals to be good in the first 45 minutes which they were scoring for fun all through.

They were able to cement a place in the Carabao Cup final after making sure they dispatched their opponent in good fashion.

The Blues were on fire as they wasted no time in taking the lead after a goal-bound strike from Armando Broja was put in by Jonny Howson to make it 1-0 in the 15th minute.

Chelsea was on a rampage as the second goal was scored by Enzo Fernandez who was quick to position himself well for a tap-in finish to make things 2-0 in the 29th minute

Axel Disasi finished off with a wonderful strike in the 36th minute that sent disaster to Middlesbrough as the scoreline quickly increased to 3-0 moving on.

Cole Palmer made it 4-0 with an outstanding goal which came in the 42nd minute ensuring things were far gone with the scoreline increased further.

Chelsea was in control heading into the break after a well-played 45 minutes handing them a comfortable 4-0 lead against Middlesbrough at Stamford Bridge.

The second half began with nothing left to play from the Blues who had to ensure they kept things calm and made sure they saw things off until 90 minutes.

Middlesbrough was hit once again by Cole Palmer who was able to make it his brace for the night and scoreline 5-0 after a goal in the 77th minute.

Chelsea made it 6-0 with another goal from Noni Madueke who was able to make good work from Conor Gallagher assist in the 81st minutes.

Rogers scored a consolidation goal in the 88th minute which put Petrovic on a stretch but couldn’t save the ball as things turned 6-1.

Chelsebookedok their place in the Carabao Cup final with an outstanding 6-1 victory with 6-2 in aggregate against Middlesbrough which they will either play Liverpool or a London derby with Fulham.
