The Gambia national team plane was involved in a critical incident on their way to Ivory Coast for the AFCON, MySportDab reports.
The situation was one which happened while they were on air heading to the host country of the AFCON tournament.
The incident with the Gambia national team was critical as there was so much panic while it was all happening.
The plane they boarded was said to have lost out on oxygen causing so much panic and some players passing out.
The whole situation was a disaster which was luckily escaped with no life lost after they had to make a return to Gambia.
According to reports reaching us, it was confirmed that no lives were lost but the incident had the players in a confused state of mind.

“An incident occurred during Gambia’s flight to AFCON – several of them fainted due to a lack of oxygen on the plane. The reason: the size of the plane.
“Two of the national team players are still in shock following this traumatic experience.
“The plane returned to Gambia with the entire delegation on board.
The AFCON is just around the corner and with this incident with the Gambia team, they are expected to regroup and make their move again.
The Gambia national team will be ensuring they are able to met up with schedule despite being involved in a situation that could have been very bad.
