Kylian Mbappe has finally ended speculations on his PSG future with a groundbreaking decision to join Real Madrid in the summer, MySportDab reports.
The 2022 World Cup topscorer and finalist has been in the news as he was as yet to renew his PSG contract with the January transfer window open.
Mbappe had six months remaining on his PSG contract and was free to enter into contract talks with other clubs this January.
Meanwhile, PSG had made multiple offers to have him renew his contract all to no avail as the youngster set sights on exiting the French capital.
Mbappe recently quelled rumors on his PSG future by revealing he is focused on PSG and has not taken a decision on his future having settled scores with the club’s hierarchy following his infamous fallout early this season.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid were still on his trail although with a somewhat different energy. As per Spanish outlet, AS, Real Madrid gave Kylian Mbappe until mid-January 2024 to reach a pre-contract agreement with the club or they will back off from the move.
Los Blancos were reportedly fed up with the back-and-forth of the move for the player, especially when reports revealed he is also considering a move to Premier League with Liverpool interested.
Now, according to the Sun, Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna has revealed Kylian Mbappe has agreed to join Real Madrid.
The report reveals Mbappe will join Real Madrid as a free agent when his contract expires not this January.
The move will finally end Real Madrid’s long-time chase of Mbappe since 2021.
