Mauricio Pochettino have confirmed the injury update concerning Christopher Nkunku ahead of Middlesbrough game, MySportDab reports.

The France International have been dealing with some discomfort in the week which resulted in him missing the Saturday victory in FA Cup.

Christopher Nkunku update have been made available today by Mauricio Pochettino who confirmed today concerning the injury.

The player is seen as an important part of the team which they have been protecting since he returned from his injury suffered during preseason.

His return have boosted a lot with the team who are now pushing forward and trying to make sure they stay consistent with delivering results.

Mauricio Pochettino have been worried but confident of the player who he is doing everything to ease off any pressure placed on him.

According to reports from Fabrizio Romano he confirmed the latest update which was made by the Chelsea coach concerning Nkunku situation ahead of Middlesbrough game.

“He’s not available for tomorrow. We have to be cautious.

“Hope it’s not a long period. He is not training, he is recovering. It’s not a big issue”.

“It’s not related with previous injury, it’s a different problem. Small issue in hip”.

The injury have been played down but the situation is now going into the next game without the player taking part.

The manager claimed it is a new problem which they are hoping things are not as bad as they may look for them.

Christopher Nkunku won’t play in the game against Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup semifinal which will take place tomorrow evening.
