Owynn Palmer-Atkin says;

“Enzo Maresca tells me that Wilfred Ndidi has picked up an injury. That’s why he was absent today.”

“Both Ndidi and Iheanacho are set to join up with Nigeria tomorrow. Enzo stressed that neither are currently fit enough to play.”

Nigeria will kick off their AFCON campaign against Equatorial Guinea on January 14, 2024 with Nigeria fans hoping the duo will be fit to travel with the team for the tournament.
