Bayern Munich are lining up a move for former Manchester United manager as a replacement for under-pressure gaffer Thomas Tuchel, MySportDab reports.
Thomas Tuchel is on dire straits at the dugout as Bayern Munich manager. Under his watch, Bayern Munich’s dwindling fortunes has shown no sign of abating.
The club are on a three-match winless streak, having lost a top-of-the-table clash to Bayern Leverkusen, suffered a narrow Champions League round 16 defeat to Lazio, and stumbling to a third straight defeat at the Vonovia Vurhstadion against Bochum.
The three-match winless run seems to have defined the season for Bundesliga giants with Thomas Tuchel’s future coming under intense scrutiny.
As things stand, the team is teetering on the brink of Champions League exit and may also end the Bundesliga campaign trophyless. Tuchel has been under pressure after the loss to Bochum.
Bayern Munich’s post-match press conference was canceled after the match with club chiefs swinging into discussion on the way forward.
According to German outlets, Bayern Munich are considering appointing Ole Gunnar Solskaer, a former Manchester United, as a replacement for Thomas Tuchel should the former Chelsea boss fail to things around soon.

The report adds Ole Gunnar Solskaer will be appointed on an interim basis to take charge of the club but parting ways with Tuchel immediately has been dismissed.
He will reportedly be allowed to stay till the end of the season to turn things around or be sacked.
Bayern Munich are likely off the Bundesliga title race with 8 points high-flying Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen.
Tuchel will be hoping to get the team back to gear fast after a disastrous three-match run or risk losing his job at the end of the season.
