The draws for the Europa League round 16 has been confirmed with Liverpool, West Ham United, Brighton learning their opponents, MySportDab reports.
Eight teams who finished on third-place in their Champions League groups were paired against runners-up in the Europa League group stages for the playoffs.
The winners of playoffs, consisting of two Champions League teams – AC Milan and Benfica – and six Europa League group stage runners-up – AS Roma, Sparta Prague, Sporting CP, Marseille, Qarabag, and Freiburg, were seeded for round of 16 draws.
The eight Europa League Playoff Winners seeded for the round of 16 draws are AC Milan, Benficax AS Roma, Sparta Prague, Sporting CP, Marseille, Qarabag, and Freiburg
The eight group stage winners seeded for the draws are Liverpool, Brighton, West Ham, Bayer Leverkusen, Atalanta, Rangers, and Villarreal.
2023/24 Europa League Round 16 Draws
The 2023/24 Europa League round 16 draws has been completed. Liverpool have been handed a relatively easy fixture against Sparta Prague while Brighton will travel to take on Roma in first leg before the reverse fixture in England.
Benfica will play Rangers with defending champions West Ham trading tackles Freiburg. The full Fixtures as follows;
