The wives and girlfriends of England national team players have been warned of imminent security threats as they prepare to jet off to Germany with their partners for 2024 Euros, MySportDab reports.
According to the Mirror, UK security operatives have fired warnings to the WAGs in light of the rising menace of burglary attacks, targeting Premier League and England national team players.
In the past two months, Manchester City star Jack Grealish and Newcastle United star Joelington have been targeted by burglars. Jack Grealish had his multi-million-pound property in Cheshire burgled while he was playing for Manchester City against Everton in the Premier League on Boxing Day.
His close relatives, including his partner Sasha Atwood, were in the property when the attackers struck and stole watches and pieces of jewelry before fleeing away after Sasha raised an alarm.
Daily Mail confirmed all efforts to track down the burglars by security operatives have proved abortive with reports they were mostly foreign mercenaries who worked with a few insiders to execute the break-in.

According to the Sun, the burglars had attempted to break into the property back in November 2023 but were scared away by police presence before their more coordinated that finally proved successful.
After Grealish’s sad break-in, Joelington also had his Darras Hall home in Newcastle United burgled while he and his family were traveling to Manchester for Premier League match against Manchester City in January.
With the rising cases of the attacks, security operatives have warned bling-looking wags not to put on costly jewelleries that could make their partners’ homes a target for burglars when they leave for 2024 Euros which kicks off in June 14.
The wags have also been advised to tone down showing off on social media as well as a safety measure.
