New Deal For Toni Kroos? Carlo Ancelotti CONFIRMS Decision

Real Madrid legendary midfielder Toni Kroos is closing in on the end of his 10-year spell with Real Madrid, MySportDab reports.

Regarded as one of the best midfielders of his time, Kroos will run full cycle of a decade with Real Madrid at the end of this season.

The German footballing sensation joined Real Madrid in 2014, made 296 La Liga appearances for the club, scoring 22 goals, and winning all available club trophies.

The 34-year-old’s previous contract with Real Madrid expired at the end of last season but he extended his deal by one year to stay put with the La Liga giants.

With just a few months left on his contract, speculations has been rife on his next destination. He has been linked to a return to Bayern Munich, his boyhood club, where he equally registered a heroic career as he has done in Madrid.

Some reports are linking him to a move to Saudi Arabia with a retirement option also on the table.

Amidst speculations on Toni Kroos’ future, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has broken his silence, speaking expressively on the player.

In a quote shared by Fabrizio Romano, Carlo Ancelotti seems to keep things in the dark, insisting the ball is in Toni Kroos’ court as the club ‘have to respect whatever Toni Kroos will decide.’

“It’s not about titles or money. Toni Kroos just loves playing football”.

“Retirement or signing new deal? We have to respect whatever Toni Kroos will decide. My idea is a player have to retire at the highest level.”

Kroos was part of the Real Madrid Champions League squad that had an accident while on their way from Munich to Effurt  for their Champions League round 16 tie against RB Leipzig.

He is expected to continue playing a big role in the last few months of his contract while everyone awaits his big decision on his future soon.
