Neville was asked in a recent TV interview whether he watched Manchester City’s Champions League match against FC Copenhagen and he answered in the negative saying the game was a forgone conclusion.

When teased to respond to Gary Neville’s criticisms, Guardiola was largely indifferent to Neville’s swipes, insisting he is happy at what he has achieved at Manchester City, developing an all-conquering team from the Etihad outfit.
‘everything depends on us; whether we are satisfied or not, not on external thoughts and perceptions from third parties which we cannot control.
‘We are still here, the importance is to feel still for ourselves. Not because of the compliments from outside or the regrets from outside.’

We are admired, I am pretty sure of that, [by] the people in the world of football who know how difficult it is being six or seven years there in all competitions every week.
