Thomas Tuchel Breaks Silence On Bayern Munich Dressing Room Row

Thomas Tuchel

Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has broken his silence on reports of Bayern Munich dressing room row after back-to-back defeats in the Bundesliga and Champions League, MySportDab reports.

The Bavarians stumbled to a shock 3-0 defeat to Bundesliga title challengers Bayer Leverkusen in a potential title-deciding clash.

The loss has seen the club drift off Bayer Leverkusen by 5 points on the Bundesliga table. They also stumbled to shock 1-0 loss to Lazio in Champions League round 16 first leg in Germany.

According to reports from German outlets, the mood in Bayern Munich dressing room has been downbeat with the reports of dressing room fracas reported.

Now, Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has come out to debunk reports of a chaotic dressing room. In a quote shared by Fabrizio Romano, Tuchel confirmed ‘the mood in the dressing room is depressed’ but added the team is not giving up and will bounce back in their next game.

“The mood in the squad is of course depressed at the moment. But I’m sure that we’ll have every chance and energy tomorrow to start a turnaround”.

“Giving up is not an option for us, it will not happen — neither in the title race nor in the Champions League.”

Bayern Munich are on the brink of ending the season without trophy following the loss to Bayer Leverkusen and Lazio, respectively.

They will be hoping for Bayer Leverkusen to slip on the Bundesliga title race for them to regain momentum and will also hope to overturn their narrow 1-0 loss to Lazio next month in the UCL Round 16 return leg or risk exiting the tournament.

Meanwhile, Tuchel will hope to sweep aside the recent two-match winless deadlock and return the team winning ways when they take on Bochum in the Bundesliga tomorrow.
