England Announce 25-man Squad For March International Break [See Full List]

England national team head coach Gareth Southgate has named his 25-man squad for the March international break, MySportDab reports.

Out-of-favor Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has been named among the three goalkeepers called for the international break.

Despite struggling for game time with the Gunners, Ramsdale is still considered key to Gareth Southgate’s squad.

The other two goalkeepers called up by Gareth Southgate are Sam Johnstone and Jordan Pickford.

Liverpool right back Joe Gomez is the surprise inclusion in Gareth Southgate’s defense options. Manchester City duo John Stones and Kyle Walker have also been called up, including Lewis Dunk, Ben Chilwell, and Jarrad Braithwaite.

Harry Maguire of Manchester United has also made Southgate’s defense picks, including Ezri Konsa.

In the midfield department, Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has unfailingly made the list, including Arsenal star Declan Rice.

Jordan Henderson, who is currently plying his trade with Ajax after terminating his Al-Etiffaq contract, is also called up alongside Tottenham star James Maddison and Chelsea sensation Conor Gallagher.

Nine forwards have been called up for the break. They include Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane, Newcastle United forward Anthony Gordon, Manchester City youngster Phil Foden, Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka, Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, and Chelsea’s Cole Palmer.

Brentford star Ivan Toney has also made the list, including Ollie Watkins of Crystal Palace, and Jarrod Bowen of Newcastle United.

With one more international window left before 2024 Euros, Gareth Southgate’s 25-man pick was of keen interest to football enthusiasts as it offers a glimpse of the Three Lions likely names for the 2024 Euros.

England will play Brazil on Saturday March 23 before taking on Belgium on March 26 during the international break.
