FT: Liverpool 1-1 Manchester City, Top CLASH End In DRAW! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Liverpool played out a 1-1 draw against Manchester City in the top-of-the-table clash in the Premier League, MySportDab reports.

The result meant Arsenal remained at the top permanently until the next round of games which will be coming up soon.

The Reds were unable to beat the Champions who almost escaped with the victory if not for a penalty that was awarded.

It was a massive clash between both teams who came in prepared looking to make sure something count for them on the pitch.

Manchester City did have their moments from the early minutes of action which they did create opportunities but it wasnt looking like they would score.

Liverpool marshalled down everything knowing the tension is more on them to ensure they win after Arsenal moved top of the table overtaking them as number one.

John Stones gave Citizens the lead after his goal which came in the 23rd minutes with an assist from Kevin de Bruyne which immediately turned things 0-1.

Liverpool were unable to make much after the opening goal which saw them fall behind against Manchester City 0-1 after 45 minutes of action played.

They both came in prepared looking to make an approach in the remaining 45 minutes that would see them try and push things to work in their favor going forward.

Liverpool continued pushing hard trying to see how they could make a comeback which was not happening despite how much they tried.

Manchester City were good until Ederson Moraes tripped down Darwin Nunez resulting to a penalty being award to the home side giving them a lifeline.

Alexis Mac Allister stepped up and made it count from a finish which was almost denied by the goalkeeper but it did not happen as the game turned 1-1 in the 50th minutes.

Everything from the movement of the leveler became dry between Liverpool and Manchester City who eventually played each other to a 1-1 draw at the end of 90 minutes giving them one point each.
