Kylian Mbappe scored a brace as PSG booked their ticket into the Champions League quarterfinals beating Real Sociedad 1-2 and 1-4 in aggregate, MySportDab reports.

The outgoing player made sure he continued to show his commitment to Paris Saint Germain despite failing to extend his contract with the club.

The Parisians were in a mood of celebration as their stay in the Champions League will continue after sealing their ticket into the next round which won’t be easy.

Both teams were not equal match based on what was witnessed from the first leg which took place in France which was dominated by the Parisians.

Things began with Real Sociedad giving a good account of themselves as they looked sharp and trying to see what they could make happen as the match carried on.

Kylian Mbappe made it count 15 minutes into the game after teaming up with Ousmane Dembele who made sure he delivered an accurate assist which was finished up to make it 0-1 For PSG.

It was already looking like a match in which the side from Spain won’t survive after the goal which meant they went further behind in aggregate which was 0-3.

PSG were cruising as things between them and Real Sociedad came to an end in the 45 minutes with things staying 0-1 with more left in the second half.

The two teams got more involved with each other from the kickoff of the second half which saw good play happening on the pitch.

Real Sociedad were already lost in the encounter which saw Kylian Mbappe scoring another goal to make it a brace for himself and the scoreline 0-2 in the 56th minute.

PSG got their lead narrowed down after an incredible goal came for the home side through Mikel Merino in the 89th minutes making things 1-4.

It was game over for Real Sociedad at the end after being unable to make anything count against PSG who made it through 1-2 and aggregate 1-4 in both legs of the Champions League round 16.
