Manuel Akanji Add To Man City INJURY BLOW!

Manchester City have been hit once again with another injury blow through Manuel Akanji, MySportDab reports.

The Premier League Champions have once again been hit for the international window which is costing them their players.

Manuel Akanji is the latest player to be ruled out through injury after pulling out of the Switzerland team ahead of their second match.

Manchester City was earlier hit with Erling Haaland’s injury which was later confirmed to be nothing serious to stop him from playing.

He resumed training and took part in the Norway match which he played a huge part all through on that day despite the injury news.

Kyle Walker was also hit after going down in the match between England and Brazil which forced him off the pitch early.

He couldn’t play much after pulling something which resulted in him being substituted in the encounter which England lost 1-0.

He later returned to Manchester City where further assessment will be done to determine what is going on.

Now, Manuel Akanji is the latest to pull out from International duty after picking up an injury which he will return immediately to City.

According to reports reaching us from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the recent update concerning the City defender.

“Manuel Akanji has pulled out of the Switzerland squad after picking up a knock, as Murat Yakin confirms.

“Man City, informed as Akanji will now return.

All national teams are on their second game for the international window in March which comes to an end in a few days.

Manuel Akanji will be assessed by those at Manchester City before a result will be made known and if there will be anything to be worried about.
