Romeo Lavia has been ruled out for the rest of the season as Chelsea suffers another blow for the season, MySportDab reports.
The midfielder did make a return but was forced back to the medical team after some discomfort within the few minutes of playing.
Chelsea have been unable to enjoy the fee paid on Romeo Lavia who won’t be making much impact with the team this season.
His recovery was going well until things changed which he won’t be looking to come back anytime soon to playing.
According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the recent update which the Chelsea player won’t be taking part in playing this 2023/24 season.

“Chelsea midifelder Roméo Lavia is to miss the remainder of this season following a setback in his recovery.
“Club staff confirms he won’t be able to play anymore this season.
The blow won’t cause much of a damage as the Blues already have enough players in the midfield position going forward.
They did not make any signing in the January window, but there are enough players who will be stepping up the ladder.
Romeo Lavia will hope to recover as quickly as possible to ensure he is back for preseason and hope to do enough to earn a place in the team for next season.
