Al-Hilal knocked out bitter rivals Al-Nassr from the Saudi Super Cup, MySportDab reports.
The Saudi Pro League leaders aced out the star-studded Al-Nassr side to book a place in the final of the competition.
It was a cracker as the two sides locked horns in a rollercoaster semifinal matchup at the Mohammed Bin Nayed Stadium.
Al-Hilal slightly had the better of Al-Nassr with a good spell of possession but it was still a tight affair.
With 58% of the ball possession, the Blue Waves maintained a more clinical offensive play than their opponents. They recorded some clearcut attempts but failed to make them count before the break.

Al-Nassr were also threatening on the offensive but struggle to cut through the Blue wall defence.
At the break it was barren with both side unable to find the back of the net.
Al-Hilal continued on their more dominant display in the second half, and it was just a matter of time before they take the lead.
Two minutes after the hour mark, Al Dawsari got off the mark for the league leaders, scoring to put them ahead.
After conceding, Al-Nassr ramped up attempts to find an equaliser but were dealt a big blow when Malcom scored again for Al-Hilal to double the lead.
The final 18 minutes saw the game took a more frantic and confrontational pace as Al-Nassr ramped up attempts to stage a possible comeback.
In the 85th minute, they suffered another blow as their top striker and league-leading goalscorer Cristiano Ronaldo saw red for elbowing a player.
Al-Hilal were still in front after the regulation time but Al-Nassr scored late in stoppage time through Sadio Mane to reduce the deficit. It ended 2-1 with Al-Hilal securing victory to set up a Super Cup final matchup with Karim Benzema’s Al-Ittihad, who saw off Al-Wehda in the other semifinal with a similar scoreline.
