Vinicius Junior scored twice as Real Madrid claimed a vital 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in the Champions League first leg, MySportDab reports.

The second leg is expected to go down in Spain where Carlo Ancelotti will be looking to finish the job with the home advantage they would have.

Harry Kane scored a penalty but wasn’t enough to earn his side the victory as they hoped to get the job completed in Spain.

Both teams played well enough to keep themselves in the match in the early minutes which saw the home side dominating play.

Bayern Munich held more of the ball and did everything possible to take the lead which failed to come for them despite several attempts made.

It was Real Madrid who took the lead after a wonderful effort from Toni Kroos who made the assist for Vinicius Junior to make things 0-1 in the 24th minutes.

The goal was the only action as Bayern Munich failed to make anything count falling behind 0-1 to Real Madrid who saw less from the 45 minutes.

They resumed the second half with alot happening as the home side were quick to respond through Leroy Sane finish in the 53rd minutes with assist from Laimer to make it 1-1.

Bayern Munich took the lead in the 57th minutes after Harry Kane was given an opportunity from the penalty spot which he beautifully made it count putting things 2-1.

The game carried on with Real Madrid pushing back with everything they had to offer until Vinicius Junior scored a penalty on the 83rd minutes making things 2-2.

The game slowed down more as nothing could happen which carried on until it came to a conclusion with Bayern Munich 2-2 Real Madrid which mean both teams will finish the battle in Spain next week.
