The Champions League holders Manchester City crashed out after losing on penalty 3-4 to Real Madrid who made it to the semifinal, MySportDab reports.
The encounter was evenly contested by both teams who left off in a draw in Spain which was the same for 90 minutes.
Both teams played out a 4-4 aggregate on regulation time which saw them pushing for extra time and penalties which eventually settled them.

The game resumed for the second leg at the Etihad Stadium which saw a lot coming from them as they pushed forward in search of the finishing work.

They both continued with 90 minutes ending with the scoreline staying draw while they pushed for extra time which was also cagey for them both.
Extra time also couldn’t save them as they carried on trying to see what could come out of their opportunities which was the same story of nothing.
It was the penalty kick that separated them with Real Madrid making it through 3-4 after playing 1-1 with them holding Manchester City to a 4-4 aggregate which the penalties gave the Los Blancos qualification.
