FT: Manchester City 5-1 Luton, Haaland SEND City Top Of EPL! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Erling Haaland scored one goal as Manchester City claimed a 5-1 victory against Luton Town at the Etihad Stadium, MySportDab reports.

The victory meant the Champions go top of the Premier League for the main time while Arsenal and Liverpool are yet to play.

It was a good match for the City side who ensured they made three points while Ross Barkley did put up another good performance for the away side.

The game saw a lot of action coming from both ends but it was the home side which the whole thing favored the more.

Manchester City wasted no time in taking the lead after Erling Haaland Scorpion kick hit Hashioka in the face and went inside the net to make it an own-goal in the 2nd minutes.

Luton Town did well despite falling behind in the match which saw them putting up a good fight as they continued the game entering the 30th minutes and counting.

The first half ended with Manchester City taking a 1-0 lead against Luton Town as they both went inside for the break after a good 45 minutes.

The action in the second half commenced with another goal making things 2-0 in the 64th minute which came from Mateo Kovacic who was assisted by Julian Alvarez.

Luton Town maintained good composure but it didn’t pay off as they conceded again in the match after Erling Haaland converted from the penalty spot to make it 3-0 in the 76th minute.

Manchester City lost concentration in the match which saw Ross Barkley with a stunner from the 81st minute making it 3-1 before Jeremy Doku’s 87th-minute goal made it 4-1.

Joško Gvardiol who made the assist for the 4th goal added one for himself in the added time with Doku’s assist making sure Manchester City claimed a 5-1 win against Luton Town to move top of the Premier League.
