A heated row ensued between Mohamed Salah and his manager Jurgen Klopp during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with West Ham in the Premier League, MySportDab reports.

For the second time in three games, Jurgen Klopp had benched Salah against West Ham due to the forward’s apparent dip in form following his return from injury.

Late in the game, the Egyptian forward was lined up to be subbed on. Preparing to enter the field, Jurgen Klopp walked towards him and seemed to engage him in a furious verbal exchange.

Salah responded by talking back at the exit-bound German tactician. The prolific forward appeared to be walking up to Klopp amidst the fallout with the German taking his steps back as he tried to disengage.

The fallout nearly spilled out of control before Darwin Nunez stepped in and held Salah, who was still lashing out at the manager following the clash.

The tense moment subsequently died down as Salah later took to the field for his game with 11 minutes left to play.

While the footage came more of a shock to football fans, it underscores the apparent fissures and dressing room unease in the Liverpool squad amidst their sudden dip in fortunes.

The Reds have won just one of their last five matches and have lost bearing in the Premier League title race.

They also crashed out of the Europa League following a chastening quarterfinal defeat to Serie A outfit Atalanta.

Mo Salah has struggled in the wake of the Reds’ dwindling fortunes, and has been reduced to cameos off the bench by Klopp. The fallout signaled his frustrations by the managers’ decision to reduce his minutes in recent matches.

Again, it was a deadlock at the London Stadium as West Ham held the Merseyside outfit to a 2-2 draw to deal a final blow to their Premier League title hopes.
