There have been speculations swirling around the future of Mo Salah at Liverpool following his fallout with his manager Jurgen Klopp on Saturday, April 27, MySportDab reports.

Mo Salah made the headline for the wrong reasons after he was caught in viral footage engaging Jurgen Klopp in a bitter verbal exchange.

The former Chelsea star, who was dropped from the Reds’ starting lineup in the club’s 2-2 draw with West Ham United, was about to be subbed on for Luis Diaz when he clashed with Klopp on the touchline.

The verbal row seemed to have stemmed from Salah’s reluctant acceptance of Jurgen Klopp’s handshake as shown from different angles of the footage.

After the game, a furious Salah stormed into the tunnel, ignoring the manager. When asked about what transpired, the Egyptian dropped a bombshell reply, “I will not speak because if I speak, there will be fire.”

Klopp also refused to let the cat out of the back when asked about the incident. The German said he had spoken to Salah and resolved the issue.

Meanwhile, it was understood the duo have yet to reconcile with reports a showdown talks will be convened to resolve the simmering crisis.

A source close to Liverpool dressing room revealed tensions has been building between Jurgen Klopp and Salah in the Reds’ dressing room when the German started dropping the player due to his recent dip in form.

The touchline fallout apparently capped the simmering beef that has been gathering steam for a while between the two.

With Jurgen Klopp set to leave at the end of the season, there were speculations Salah could also draw the curtain on his seven-year stint with the Reds following his dwindling fortunes at the club.

The attacking sensation has a year left on his Liverpool contract and has been linked to a move to Saudi Arabia.

Amidst reports of Salah’s possible summer exit from Liverpool, the Athletic reports Liverpool chiefs are not open to the player’s departure in the summer as they consider him key to the Reds’ squad.

The report adds the prolific winger will be allowed to enter the last lap of his contract next season despite interest from Saudi Arabia.

However, it is still unclear whether they will broker a new deal with the player or allow him leave on a free transfer at the expiration of his contract with the club.
