The controversial NFL ex player was a troubled man who had his up and down from personal life to his legal case with authorities.
OJ Simpson death is one which many have shared divided opinion while the world of sports seems to have welcomed the whole situation with silence.
He died on Thursday 11, March 2024 after losing the battle to cancer which he was battling for a very long time.

He had a successful career playing in the NFL before his case which overshadowed all his hard work and dedication to his career.
Things quickly took a turn for what was one of the greatest running back player in the history of the NFL during his active days.
He was charged with a case which involved him killing his former wife alongside her friend some years ago.
OJ Simpson death was announced on Thursday and since then it been different kind of reaction which have followed through the shocking event.
The NFL world seems to have gone radio silence which is very understandable based on the controversies and what kind of person he used to be.
The trial case of him killing both Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman was one which already tarnished his imagine as a legend in the NFL.
The NFL website had little or anything positive to saying on their tribute to OJ Simpson death which shows a lot of what is going on.
However more reaction poured in including one from former Athlete and television star Caitlyn Jenner reacted with the caption “good riddance”.
Another reaction from ESPN reporter Jeremy Schaap had a lot to say concerning the situation. He said . “Anyone who has seriously looked at the evidence … would have to come to the conclusion that he was a murderer,” said Schaap.
“And so am I filled with sorrow today? I’m not.”
Many others had some negative reactions over the situation except for Torrey Smith who gave some positive tribute.
He Said: “The amount [of] journalists/media companies that are using OJ’s court pictures to announce his death is disgusting!
Regardless of what you may think about him he was innocent in court and has kids out here,” wrote Smith.
OJ Simpson death have caused a lot of silence reactions which his former team’s also did not mention anything concerning the demise.
