Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed whether Anthony Martial will return to the turf this season with Manchester United following his injury, MySportDab reports.
The former Monaco forward has been sidelined for 42 days and counting with a groin injury and has missed 8 games for United, as per Transfermarkt.
It is the second time Rashford has been sidelined this season. He previously went ill early in the season and missed 4 games for the club due to the illness.
Overall, Martial has a history of recurrent injury problems has limited him to a bit-part role in the squad, crippling his Man United career.
His current injury blow is no different and could see the 28-year-old miss the rest of the seaon for United.
On whether Martial can beat the odds and return to action before the end of the season, Erik ten Hag said he doesn’t know, and added he is still with the medical team.

Martial will run out of his Manchester United contract at the end of the season. He has been linked to a free exit from the club in the summer with links to Inter Milan.
The French footballer has made only 13 Premier League appearances for Manchester United this season, scoring one goal with 0 assists.
