Feyenoord head coach and soon-to-be Liverpool manager Arne Slot has confirmed he will be the new Liverpool manager, MySportDab reports.

Speaking in what will be his last press conference as Feyenoord tanager today ahead of his final Eredivisie game, the 46-year-old affirmed he is the next man to succeed Jurgen Klopp as the Reds new boss.

“Yes, I will be the new trainer there (at Liverpool),” he said when asked about his imminent move to Liverpool.

Arne Slot’s affirmation of his next big stop at Merseyside came just hours after Jurgen Klopp also had his last match press conference as a Liverpool.

Apparently fixated on his sabbatical away from the dugout, Klopp gave a spicy and lively press conference, saying he had a very hectic week in the build-up to his exit.

”It has been a very hectic week for me I will say but I am cool,” he said.

Klopp will take charge of his last Premier League match as Liverpool manager again Wolves on Sunday, May 19 when the 2023/24 Premier League season will be wrapped off.

The 56-year-old seemed to have waved aside the disappointment of having to settle for the EFL Cup only after chasing a quadruple midway through the season.

However, he is still regarded as one of the best managers Liverpool ever had with one Premier League title, one Champions League title, and four major trophies in his collection with the Reds.

Slot will take over from the German immediately, having agreed terms with Liverpool to become the club’s new manager, ending his spell with Feyenoord.

The Dutch will face a huge task stepping into Jurgen Klopp’s shoes as he sets out for an exciting new chapter in his managerial career with the Reds.

Liverpool have yet to officially confirmed Slot’s signing as the club’s new manager but it is understood all terms have been settled for the Dutchman to switch to Merseyside after his last game in the Eredivisie on Sunday.
