Darwin Nunez Deletes All Liverpool-related Posts From Instagram

Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez has deleted all Liverpool-related posts on his social media handle amidst speculations linking him to Anfield exit, MySportDab reports.

The prolific Uruguayan forward, who joined Liverpool on a record £85m transfer from Benfica in 2022, has been strongly linked to a summer exit from Anfield as he struggles to secure first-team role in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

Following Liverpool’s recent deadlock in the Premier League and Europa League, Nunez has been reduced to cameos off the bench by Jurgen Klopp. Sources close to the 23-year-old reveal he is unhappy with his situation at the club and could leave.

In a move that has fueled speculations on the future of the player, Nunez took down all Liverpool-related posts on his Instagram, leaving only family pictures, and posts during his time at Benfica and with the national team, Uruguay.

While it is unclear why the prolific forward took down all posts with his current club, it is understood the shocking move is not unrelated to his current struggles for game time at the club.

Despite his reduced minutes for the Reds this season, Darwin Nunez has scored 18 goals for the club in all competitions to cap his improved performance compared to his debut campaign.

However, he has been found wanting by Jurgen Klopp in the wake of Liverpool’s dwindling fortunes, and this has fueled speculations over his future at the club.

MySportDab understands Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez is ready to line up a move for the player to replace Robert Lewandowski this summer.

Xavi is said to be a strong fan of Darwin Nunez and is ready to have the burgeoning Uruguayan in his attacking options both for his prolific goalscoring stats and less demanding financial pecks.
