Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed he and United representatives have kept in touch with Jadon Sancho after his loan move to Borussia Dortmund, MySportDab reports.
Sancho left United for a short-term loan spell with his former club Borussia Dortmund following his furious bust-up with Erik ten Hag.
The English forward saw his career grind to a halt at Old Trafford for four months after he refused to apologize to Erik ten Hag following an infamous social media outburst after he was dropped from the squad in a Premier League fixture against Arsenal early in the season.
Following irreconcilable differences between the two parties, and ten Hag’s continuous clampdown on the player, the club opted to have the 23-year-old continue his career away from Old Trafford.
Since his switch to the Bundesliga outfit, Sancho has been in the form of his life and has been instrumental in the club’s bid for the coveted Champions League trophy.
The embattled forward hit the peaks of his individual brilliance in Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League semi-final first leg against PSG.
He won the man of the match award, helping the team defeat the Ligue 1 giants by a lone goal to muster an advantage ahead of the second leg fixture in Parc Des Princes.
With just two months left on his loan contract, there have been speculations on his Old Trafford future with reports Borussia Dortmund are ready to keep him on another loan deal if they cannot secure a permanent move for the player.
Now, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed he has been in contact with the player following his loan move.
“Apology from Sancho? There was a conflict but let’s first finish the season. So stay away from this issue now”.

It is understood Manchester United are ready to part ways with Jadon Sancho but at the right offer. A return to the Old Trafford club is also not ruled out should the club fail to reach an agreement for a permanent move or another loan deal.
