Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has ripped into his critics for lack of football knowledge, MySportDab reports.

Criticisms have flooded the table of the Dutchman over what fans regard as a subpar delivery and poor campaign with Manchester United this term.

Away from his promising debut at the dugout at Old Trafford, Erik ten Hag has come under heavy backlash from fans and pundits alike for his clueless and shapeless style of play, lack of clear tactical plan, poor planning for injuries, and dressing room splits and collisions.

All these have played into Man United’s underwhelming run this term with the team on the brink of losing out of Europe next season and possibly ending the season without silverware.

Against the backdrop of criticisms and backlash, ten Hag has remained adamant he is the right man to turn around the fortunes of Manchester United.

The Dutch seemed unmoved by the torrents of negative reviews of his second season with the club.

And recently, he has lashed out at his critics for lacking football knowledge and having no experience managing a football team.

”I see some comments (from pundits). Either they don’t have any knowledge of football or managing a football team,” he said.

Erik ten Hag will have a chance to redeem United’s prestige that has been flaking off amidst the scourge of a torrid campaign when they take on title-challengers Arsenal at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils lost their last fixture with a shocking 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace and will be expected to show a reaction and bounce back against the Gunners.

Arsenal have managed only one win in their last 16 visits to Old Trafford but are the pundits’ favorite to carry the day with their fiery form this season.

The six-pointer clash will pit Arsenal’s challenge for the Premier League title against United’s bid for a European place.

Ten Hag could boost his chances of continuing with United next season should he defy the odds to pound the high-flying Mikel Arteta-led side to submission.
