“I Will Not Resign,” – Erik ten Hag REACTS

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has reacted to rumors linking him to a possible exit from the club this summer, MySportDab reports.

The Dutchman has been under pressure as United teeter on the brink of ending the season without a trophy.

A series of inconsistent and dismal performances has also seen the team drift far away from qualifying for Champions League football next season.

While they are in the running for a Europa League or Europa Conference League spot, pressure has piled up on Erik ten Hag with reports he could be shown the exit door this season.

However, the 54-year-old has talked down reports of his potential summer exit from the club. Speaking ahead of United’s next Premier League games against Crystal Palace, the EFL Cup winner and Eredivisie champion made it clear he will not resign from his role as the club’s manager and had no plan to leave.

Speaking to ViaPlay NL: “I assume that I will be Manchester United manager next year.

signed a long-term deal consciously and I am not a person who walks away.”

Erik ten Hag will have one year left on his contract this season. While he has faced an uncertain future in the wake of United’s dwindling fortunes, sources close to the club’s new co-owners Sir Jim Ratcliffe says the football investor is undecided on Erik ten Hag’s future.

Meanwhile, there are reports the Dutchman could be at Manchester United next season with Sir Jim Ratcliffe more likely not to part ways with Dutch due to a lack of alternatives.
