BREAKING! Erik ten Hag To Leave Manchester United This Summer

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will leave his role as the club’s manager at the end of the season, MySportDab reports.

According to Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester United had taken the decision to part ways with Erik ten Hag before the 2023/23 Premier League season was wrapped up.

Speaking with soccernews.nl, Gianluca Di Marzio confirmed United hierarchy, under the leadership of new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, have started exploring replacement options for ten Hag.

“Manchester United will be looking for a new coach as they have decided to part ways with Erik ten Hag some time ago,” Di Marzio told soccernews.nl.

United’s decision to part ways with Erik ten Hag is no surprise following the Dutchman’s disappointing campaign with Manchester United in the just-concluded 2023/24 season.

Manchester United finished 8th on the Premier League table, crashing out of all European places in the English top-flight.

They ask crashed out in the group stages of the Champions League, and were bundled out of the EFL Cup.

The club’s only hope of silverware and European football next season lies in FA Cup where they will take on dominant cross-city rivals Manchester City On May 25.

Ten Hag is expected to play his last game as Man United manager in the FA Cup final clash against Manchester City before the club announced their decision to end their collaboration with him, as per Gianluca Di Marzio.

Di Marzio adds names have been shortlisted by United to replace the Dutch tactician with former Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi, Ipswich Town manager McKenna, and former Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino leading the list.
