Aston Villa sealed a shocked comeback to hold Liverpool to a 3-3 draw thanks to Jhon Duran’s brace, MySportDab reports.

It was an excellent performance from the Villa side who are already out of the Premier League game before the brace happened.

Cody Gkapo was among the goal scorers which wasn’t enough as Jhon Duran turned the tie around between both teams.

The game came to life with so much to be played from both ends and nothing too serious that could cause them any damage for the season.

Liverpool took control quickly after an own-goal conceded by Emiliano Martinez in the 2nd minute making sure things became 0-1 between them.

The game continued with Aston Villa countering back with hopes of them being able to arrange which came in the 12th minute through Tielemans to make it 1-1.

Ollie Watkins made the assist but unfortunately, it was enough as Cody Gkapo scored in the 23rd minute making things 1-2 between them.

The first half came to an end with Liverpool taking a 1-2 lead against Aston Villa after 45 minutes of action which was played at the Villa Park.

There was more that happened in the second half which saw another goal scored in the 48th minute from Jarell Quansah to make it 1-3 which pushed the lead forward.

Aston Villa looked out from the scoreline, but they did not give up as they continued pushing with everything possible from their end which saw Ollie Watkins’s 52nd-minute goal ruled out.

The fightback against Liverpool started when Jhon Duran scored in the 85th minute which made sure things between both teams became 2-3 as things continued.

Jhon Duran doubled his goal immediately in the 88th minute which was enough to see Aston Villa hold Liverpool to a 3-3 draw after 90 minutes of action.
