Departing Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was down to tears as he returned to the club to officially bid farewell to them, MySportDab reports.
Close sources reveal Jurgen Klopp had flown back from Spain, where he is set to spend his sabbatical, on Tuesday morning for a farewell event organized by the club following his departure.
Top Liverpool players, including the German coaching staff, members of the club’s hierarchy, including Liverpool fans were present at the high-pitch event.
After his emotional send-forth on his final day at Anfield, the 56-year-old had another chance to address the club and the fans officially before exiting the scene.
Unlike his flamboyant and ecstatic bent on the Premier League Matchday when he played his last match as Liverpool manager, he was quite emotional this time.
Receiving a warm reception and applause from the fans as he spoke, the Anfield legend could not hold back tears as he got overwhelmed with emotions.
In footage making the rounds on social media and also shared on this post, he could be seen choked with emotions and wiping away tears as he struggles to speak.

According to Daily Mail, the event was reportedly organized by English comedian John Bishop and was presented by Liverpool Football Club with fans charged £73 for tickets.
Klopp flew from Spain with his wife to the event and it will be the last time he will share a platform with Liverpool fans after his poignant exit.
Speaking at the event, the footballing genius said his decision to join Liverpool as a manager in 2015 was the best decision he has ever made in his life and he is forever grateful.
Klopp left Liverpool as the club’s best manager, winning six major trophies, including the Premier League and a Champions League trophy.
He has been succeeded by former Feyenoord manager Arne Slot, 45, who will hope to build on the former’s legacies at Anfield.
