BREAKING! Kobbie Mainoo Makes England 2024 Euros Provisional Squad

Manchester United youngster Kobbie Mainoo has made Gareth Southgate’s England Provisional Squad for 2024 Euros, MySportDab reports.

The Stockport-born Man United Academy graduate will be ready for his first major international tournament following his breakout.

England national team manager Gareth Southgate initially waved off Mainoo’s chances in the England squad before making a U-turn to include the young midfielder in The Three Lions squad for the last international break.

Mainoo was called up for the squad after being left out initially, and he starred for the 2020 Euros finalist in his international debut against Belgium in the friendlies.

Despite a promising debut, Mainoo’s chances of making Southgate’s list for the 2024 Euros was a subject of debate with the bunch of midfield talents available for Southgate.

However, he was still a favorite to make the cut with his mature and impressive showing for United in the just-concluded 2023/24 season.

Now, The Mail has confirmed the United youngster has been named in the squad in the available drop-down lists by Gareth Southgate so far.

The full list is yet to be dolled out but Mainoo has already secured his place in the squad alongside Tottenham’s James Maddison, Crystal Palace’s Dean Henderson, and others.
