Mauricio Pochettino has shared more lights on when Wesley Fofana would return from his long-spell injury, MySportDab reports.

The defender have been the only player out for a long time despite all work being done to make him return this season.

Wesley Fofana injury have been a constant thing since making the move to Chelsea which Mauricio Pochettino have confirmed a return date for the defender.

Things are shaping out good in the final games of the season with a number of players getting themselves back into the team.

The game against Nottingham Forest was a sign of good things coming as Reece James made his return and wasted no time in assisting the winning goal.

Chances of them making Europe next season was handed a huge boost after Newcastle United couldn’t extend their lead on the 6th position.

However, the news of players returning have been positive but Wesley Fofana is one which his return date have been announced by the Chelsea boss.

According to the report from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the comments made on when Wesley Fofana would return to playing regularly.

Here Is What Was Said:

“We hope to have Wes Fofana ready and available for pre-season”.

“He is doing well, very positive, we were talking and we hope he can be available to be part of the group”.

There are caution being taken concerning the player and others who were injured for the most of the season.

They are gradually engaging themselves in training but they won’t be rushed back with the season already over with two games left.

Wesley Fofana will be making his return during the preseason which should see him regain full fitness before the season start for 2024/25.
