Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed updates on the injury situation of Christopher Nkunku and Levi Colwill, including other names on Chelsea’s injury list, MySportDab reports.

After coming from two goals down to draw Aston Villa at Villa Park in their last Premier League game, the Blues will return to Premier League action today against Tottenham Hotspur.

Ahead of the game, 12 Chelsea players are being sidelined with different Injuries, as per the Blues’ latest update.

Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino has cleared the air on the real-time status of the injured players ahead of the Tottenham Hotspur clash.

While the Blues have been grounded with injuries, the latest report from the team’s dressing room reveals a lot of players have returned to the turf. However, they are all ruled out of the Tottenham Hotspur match.

Some of the key names who were linked to a potential return to the team as early as possible are Levi Colwill, Reece James, and Christopher Nkunku.

On Chilwell, Pochettino said “Chilly, also, after the national team – it’s the same problem he suffered in the last few weeks.

He added the player could be back to the team soon but there is no fixed timeline of his return.

Chilwell came on as a substitute against Manchester City and missed the 5-0 loss to Arsenal. He also missed the Aston Villa draw and has struggled for fitness since joining the England squad for March international friendlies.

On Reece James, who underwent hamstring surgery in December, Pochettino confirmed the defender is still nursing his injury despite returning to partial training last week

“Reece James is not fit yet. Today and yesterday he was doing some partial training with the squad. They are close but still not available.”

On Christopher Nkunku, who has spent most of his debut campaign with the Blues on the sidelines, Poch confirmed the French attacking midfielder is still miles away from his recovery and will not be available against Tottenham.
