Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen found the net, but a last-minute strike from Isaac Success ensured that Udinese forced Napoli to a 1-1 draw at the Bluenergy Stadium in a Serie A clash featuring three Nigerian stars, MySportDab Reports.

In a first half lacking clear opportunities, Osimhen and his Napoli side faced a resilient Udinese defense, with goalkeeper Maduka Okoye thwarting any threats.

However, the deadlock was broken six minutes into the second half when Osimhen capitalized on a cross from Matteo Politano to head Napoli into the lead.

Osimhen’s goal marked his third consecutive game scoring against Udinese, joining the ranks of Napoli legends Gonzalo Higuain and Dries Mertens with this feat.

Udinese, bolstered by Success’s introduction, rallied late in the game. Although Osimhen thought he doubled Napoli’s lead in the 80th minute, his goal was eventually disallowed for offside after a VAR review.

As stoppage time approached, Success seized the moment, seizing a chance in the box to fire home the equalizer, securing a crucial point for Udinese.

Despite Osimhen’s efforts, Udinese’s resilience, and Success’s late heroics, neither side could secure all three points, settling for a share of the spoils in an exciting Serie A encounter.
