Jadon Sancho Leads Crazy Dressing Room Celebrations After UCL Semi-final Win [Video]

Jadon Sancho led Borussia Dortmund’s dressing room celebrations after the Bundesliga outfit saw off PSG to book a place in the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League final at Wembley, MySportDab reports.

The Manchester United loanee was at the peak of his game, playing a crucial role as Borussia Dortmund harvested a pound of flesh from the Ligue 1 giants to qualify for their first Champions League final in 13 years.

Mats Hummels’ 50th-minute header after a corner kick was the difference at Parc Des Princes. The visitors went into the game on the back of a narrow 1-0 lead in the first leg and needed a draw to book a place in the final.

But Hummels made it a back-to-back victory with the header to secure a 2-0 aggregate victory.

with an expected goal of 3.22, and a commanding spell of possession up to 70%, PSG fell out of luck to mount a comeback. They struck the bar three times before being finally phased out of the competition.

It was a  slim but deserved victory for the Edin Terzic-led side, as they held on against all odds to oust the Parisians in front of their home crowd.

After the game, the Die Schwarzgelben left no stone unturned celebrating a heroic and hard-fought victory in the dressing room.

Manchester United loanee Jadon Sancho was at the center of the celebrations. In footage shared on the club’s social media channels, Sancho could be seen stepping on the center of the table with a big music box and leading the players to chorus to Adele’s ‘Someone Like You.’

With the music box in his hand, He was also seen reaching out to all the players in the dressing room to hug them as they continued singing.

While the celebrations are normal sublime reactions by players to big moments, Sancho’s celebration antics inevitably beamed the searchlights again on the drastic turnaround in the player’s career.

In September 2023, the United loanee slumped into the darkest chapters of his career following a public fallout with United manager Erik ten Hag.

He was frozen out of the first team and banned to the Academy team for refusing to apologize. Castrated from the squad and going without footballing action for four months nearly jeopardized his career.

Due to the tense relationship between him and ten Hag, a short-term loan solution was brokered to have him leave the club for Borussia Dortmund.

Away from his Old Trafford nightmare, Sancho has been in the form of his life for Borussia Dortmund. He was awarded Man Of The Match in the Champions League semi-final first leg and was crucial in the second leg in Paris before being subbed off in the second half.

MySportDab understands Borussia Dortmund are ready to keep the player on an extended loan or a total buyout but must agree terms with United.
