‘He Is Better Than Me’ – Scholes REACTS On Comparison With Mainoo

Paul Scholes had so much to say concerning the comparison between him and Kobbie Mainoo, MySportDab reports.

The legendary midfielder who had plenty of success during his active days has remained happy knowing things are shaping out for his former club.

However, Paul Scholes has come out to clear the air on the comparison between himself and Kobbie Mainoo which he was quick to answer.

There is no doubt that Mainoo has taken Manchester United with full force after breaking through from the Academy this season.

The teenager already made his senior team debut with the England national team and he could also make it to the upcoming Euro tournament this year.

Kobbie Mainoo has also established himself as the next big name to come out of the Manchester United academy who are known for producing quality midfielders.

According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the comments made by Paul Scholes concerning the comparison of him and Mainoo.

Here Is What He Said:

“Don’t waste your time with comparison between me and Kobbie Mainoo…”

“He is 10 times the player I was at 19”.

“Just love the way he receives ball, calmness, awareness of what’s around him and big goals in big games. He’s special and he’s f*cking Red!”.

The Manchester United legend’s expectations have been blown away by the teenager he had no choice but to see it as it is.

Mainoo was crucial to the side winning the FA Cup after scoring the second goal adding to an early one scored by Garnacho which gave them the victory.

Paul Scholes will be hoping to see the youngster Kobbie Mainoo go on to do more after taking the decision to pick England over Ghana which is his hometown.
