Thomas Tuchel could be returning to the Premier League after his unsavory spell with Bayern Munich, MySportDab reports.

The veteran German manager will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season and has been linked to a return to the Premier League.

His former club Chelsea, including Manchester United, have been linked to a move for former Borussia Dortmund boss as the clock ticks toward the end of his second spell in the German Bundesliga.

Amidst reports linking him to Premier League return, Tuchel gave a candid but optimistic response when asked about a potential return to the English topflight, and specifically Chelsea.

Speaking with TNT Sports, the 46-year-old gave a glowing review of his time in the Premier League with Chelsea, a comment that delineates his readiness to return to the English topflight.

“I’d rather not answer… but it is no secret that I loved it at Chelsea, I loved it in England and I loved it in the Premier League for sure”.

“It was a very, very special time in England”, Tuchel told TNT Sports.

Tuchel was sacked as Chelsea manager in 2022 following a series of inconsistent results.

However, stats show the German was one of the best managers Chelsea ever had. He won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup, and reached the final of the FA and EFL Cup in his first season as Chelsea manager.

Chelsea have been strongly linked with a move for Tuchel with current manager Mauricio Pochettino facing intensive scrutiny from the club’s hierarchy due to inconsistent run-ins.

While the results have improved recently for the Blues, sources close to the Blues hierarchy reveal they are unconvinced by Pochettino’s capabilities so far with the club ending the season trophyless and struggling for a place in Europe next season.
