Liverpool may likely witness an exodus of some of their key players this summer following the exit of Jurgen Klopp, MySportDab reports.

Klopp, 56, struck a bolt from the blue when he announced in January 2024 that he will leave Liverpool at the end of the 2023-24 campaign.

With the 2023-24 campaign wrapped off, Klopp’s exit rituals was observed with fever-pitch ovations at Anfield, high-octane farewell parties, and emotional tributes from fans and players.

While the German tactician reportedly perching on one of the most luxurious suburbs in Spain to wile away his sabbatical, there are projections Liverpool are likely to be hit with a mass exodus of some top players this summer.

One of such players is their goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher. Kelleher is Liverpool’s No.2 and is reportedly hungry for regular game time to get back to gears with his career.

According to The Mail, the 25-year-old has refused to rule away a possible summer exit from Anfield this summer having been shadowed by Liverpool’s No.1 Alisson Becker.

”I’ve had such an amazing time at Liverpool, it’s been a crazy journey for me and one that I’ve absolutely loved.

”I love the club, I love the fans and I have a great relationship with the players and the staff.

”Whether it’s here at Liverpool or somewhere else, I do feel the next step for me is to be a No 1,” Kelleher said, as quoted by The Mail.

Overall, it hasn’t been a disappointing campaign for Kelleher in Liverpool’s squad in the just-concluded campaign. He made 26 appearances for the club in all competitions due to Becker’s injury.

With a new helmsman, Arne Slot, in the Reds’ dugout, Kelleher falls into the category of Liverpool players who will have to discuss their future with the former Feyenoord boss and know their place in his potential new Liverpool setup.
