Chelsea swap deal for Victor Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku have collapse after recent update, MySportDab reports.
The Blues are one team who are strongly linked with a move to sign the African best player who is open to leaving Napoli.
There have been reports of a possible swap deal for Chelsea to add Romelu Lukaku plus cash in a bid to see them get Victor Osimhen.
However things have taken another turn which might be due to the new manager coming in to take over things at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have a number of players that they considered to be on the market for now and could fetch them some good cash.
According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the swap deal that was said to be on the table between Chelsea and Napoli for Victor Osimhen is off.
Here Is What Was Said:
“Chelsea and Napoli are currently not working on a swap deal between Victor Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku.
“Chelsea insist on £38m release clause for any club keen on signing Romelu Lukaku this summer.
The deal is unlikely to happen with both parties not on the table to negotiate such a deal ahead of the transfer window.
No swap deal is expected to happen between Victor Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku by both clubs involved in both players.
