Aston Villa have completed an agreement to sign Ian Maatsen from Chelsea in the summer window, MySportDab reports.
The Netherlands international was earlier linked with signing permanently for Borussia Dortmund which won’t be happening.
Ian Maatsen to Aston Villa was agreed upon after the Premier League side jumped ahead of Borussia Dortmund who dropped out.
The player is now looking at getting a permanent move which is one longed due after making a mark in the just concluded season.
Chelsea have given their green light as they had earlier despite the player picking up form during his loan move which saw him play in the Champions League final.
According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed Aston Villa and Chelsea have both reached an agreement for a move to happen.

“Ian Maatsen’s move to Aston Villa set to be sealed, medical booked.
“Chelsea just permitted to proceed with medical at Netherlands camp for Dutch left back to join Villa.
“£37.5m fee agreed with Chelsea for Maatsen’s move.
“Final details of the contract being clarified after initial agreement on personal terms on a contract until 2030.
After completing his medical, Aston Villa will make an official announcement confirming the move to be done.
Ian Maatsen will be unveiled as the new Aston Villa signing once the remaining details of the move have been sorted out.
