Brighton have appointed Texas-born German professional manager Fabian Hurzeler as the club’s new manager following the exit of Roberto De Zerbi, MySportDab reports.
At the stroke of the end of the 2023-24 campaign, Brighton parted ways with Roberto De Zerbi with reports the Italian fell out with the club’s chief Tony Bloom over this summer’s transfer policy.
Multiple meetings were reportedly held to thrash out issues but there was no headway. So, the two parties decided to end their collaboration and part ways.
Since the exit of Roberto De Zerbi, Brighton have been on the lookout for a new manager. Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, the club have appointed former St Pauli manager in the German second tier Fabian Hurzeler as the new manager.
As per Fabrizio Romano’s report, Hurzeler, 31, will be the youngest Premier League manager as he sets out for a new bigger challenge with the Seagulls.

Hurzeler was thrust into the spotlight after his impressive run in the dugout with St Pauli. After two seasons in charge, he led St Pauli back to the German elite division in the just-concluded 2023-24 season.
Fabian Hurzeler has reportedly signed a three-year contract with the Seagulls till 2027 and will resume duties in the club’s dugout this summer.
