Chelsea Football Club have announced former Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca as the club: ‘s new manager, MySportDab reports.
In a club statement shared on the club’s website, the London outfit confirmed that Maresca is the new manager, having signed a five-year contract with the club till 2029.
It is the third time Enzo Maresca will manage a club’s first team after his spell with Parma in Serie B and recently Leicester City in England.

The Italian tactician began his managerial career working with the Manchester City development squad as a manager before he left for Italy for a Parma job in 2020.
After a season with the club, Maresca was sacked following his failure to return the Italian outfit to the Italian top-flight.
He returned to Manchester City in 2021 after his botched spell with the second division. At Manchester City, Maresca worked with Pep Guardiola as assistant manager for a year before he landed the Leicester City role in 2022.
At Leicester City, the 44-year-old reached the peak of his career as he led the Foxes back to the Premier League as 2023-24 Championship winners.
Following his brilliant campaign with the Foxes, Maresca attracted interest from top clubs in Europe and was in the running for the Chelsea role after the departure of Mauricio Pochettino.
The highly-rated manager saw off the competition from former Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi and immediate past Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel to become the Blues manager.
He will be tasked to return the Blues to gears in the English top tier after a disappointing run in the past two seasons.
